The St. John’s Public Lectures in Philosophy series continues on Tuesday, Sept. 27, with a lecture by Dr. Danine Farquharson, Department of English, Memorial University of Newfoundland, who will speak on God and the Gun: Violence, Religion Ireland. The lecture gets underway at 8:30 p.m.at the Ship Pub, Duckworth Street, St. John’s. All are invited to attend.
