A public forum, titled, Fisheries Policy and Rural Revitalization: An Integrated Approach, will be held on Wed. Nov. 30, 2005, at 8 p.m.in the Waterfront Premises, Barbour Living Heritage Village, Newtown, New-Wes-Valley. The forum is hosted by Memorial’s Leslie Harris Centre of Regional Policy and Development in partnership with the Kittiwake Economic Development Corporation (KEDC).The public is invited to attend and participate in a dialogue and a question-and-answer period. Reception to follow.
A regional workshop in Economic Zone 14 will be held at the Barbour Living Heritage Village. Participants will have the opportunity to identify new opportunities with stakeholders in the region.
Media agencies are encouraged to send representatives to both events.
