SUBJECT: Helping first-year Memorial students overcome school fears

First-year Memorial students are invited to register for a four-day program that will help alleviate their fears about academic expectations in university. A new program called Summer Program in Academic Research & Communications will introduce students to essential research and writing techniques, and offer a sneak preview of what professors expect. The program runs Aug 28-31. The enrolment fee is $25 and space is limited. To register, contact Jan Guise at 737-7427.
