Graduate students in the Department of English at Memorial will launch a special issue of Postscript: A Journal of Graduate Criticism and Theory on Wednesday, Nov. 9, starting at 6 p.m.The launch will take place at Bitters Pub, Feild Hall, on the St. John’scampus. The latest issue of Postscript explores the subjects of freedom and rock n’roll, with an emphasis on critical debates in popular music. Included are feature articles and reviews by graduate scholars from throughout North America. This is the 12th publication of Postscript by graduate students in the Department of English. Postscript was founded in 1992 by then graduate students Danine Farquharson and Susan Drodge. Media are encouraged to send representatives.
