Memorial Universityof Newfoundland is pleased to announce they will be televising Saturday night Sea-Hawks’ home basketball games once again this season. Produced by Memorial’s Distance Education and Learning Technologies (DELT), the games will be aired in Newfoundland and Labrador as well as the Atlantic Region beginning Nov. 13.

Subscribers to Rogers Cable can view the games on channel 9 in St. John’s and surrounding areas. Rogers will also carry the games in Gander, Grand Falls/ Windsor, and Corner Brook. Persona Communications will make the games available in other areas of the province on the House of Assembly Channel.

Eastlink Cable in Halifax will carry all games featuring Nova Scotia and PEI-based teams to viewers in both those provinces. Rogers Cable will carry contests featuring UNB teams across New Brunswick.

Broadcasts begin at 6 p.m. Newfoundland Time except for the Feb. 5 game that starts at 7 p.m. For a complete listing of the Sea-Hawks’ 2004-2005 schedule go to www.mun.ca/athletics/main/index.php.
