SUBJECT: PSA: Public lecture to examine accountability in health care

Memorial University’s Division of Community Health/Atlantic Regional Training Centre presents a public lecture titled Accountability in Health Care: The Impossible Dream on Thursday, Dec. 9. The lecture, delivered by Nuala Patricia Kenny, will be held in Lecture Theatre A of the medical school starting at 2 p.m.
Dr. Kenny is a nationally recognized educator and physician ethicist. In 1991, she was a visiting scholar at the Hastings Centre for Ethics and in 1993 held a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Fellowship in Continuing Medical Education at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University. In 2001 she was a scholar in residence at the Rockefeller Foundation Study Centre in Bellagio, Italy.
