C-RISE at the CSChE 2018 Conference
In October, the Canadian society for Chemical Engineering (CSChE) organized the 29th Inter-American Congress of Chemical Engineering incorporating the 68th Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference in Toronto, Ontario. The conference focused on the big challenges that the world is currently facing in the area of human health, sustainable energy, natural resources, globalization, and the environment. Enthusiastic researchers, students, professors, and industry representatives from all over the world gathered there to share knowledge and ideas with each other.
CRISE members, both students and faculty, participated in the conference with oral and poster presentations. There were four who gave oral presentations, and three who presented posters. Their research and findings were appreciated and applauded by everyone. It was a great learning experience for them, especially the students, and surely it will help them in their research work. Hopefully, they will be able to attend more events like this in the future to further enhance their skill and knowledge.
