Economics at Memorial: What our students have to say

The Department offers several undergraduate degree programs.
Students majoring in economics may choose to complete a Bachelor degree (General or Honours) in Arts or in Science.

We offer four joint major programs with two departments in the Faculty of Science, i.e., the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Department of Computer Science. Many students in the Bachelor of Commerce program have also enroled in the joint degree program in Economics.

The Department offers a co-operative education option for BA and BSc Economics majors and honours students, as well as for students completing a joint major in Economics and Statistics. Eligible students who are interested in this program must apply for admission by October 15 of each year. Please refer to the university calendar for additional information.
