NMR Training

All new users of the NMR facility are required to get training sessions before being giving access to the instrument. Training can only be given by Dr. Schneider.

Student should arranged  training sessions directly with Dr. Schneider when they are ready to acquire and process NMR spectra as part of their research... otherwise procedures will be forgotten!!! To this end, training will be given on the student's own sample (see sample preparation form).

A basic understanding of FT NMR is essential. Good references to read over before sessions can be found in the section below.

User notes in PDF format are available for NMR 300 and NMR 500. These should help users go through the everyday routine on their own after the training sessions.
