ScienceM@tters is a national award winning program for undergraduate Faculty of Science students beyond first year who are looking for help in preparing for a career and could benefit from career guidance from experienced science alumni.
ScienceM@tters is a voluntary program. It consists of 8 hours of regularly scheduled career development sessions and a minimum of 5 contact hours matched with a Memorial B.Sc. Alumni. The weekly sessions explore topics such as resume building, job search and networking, interview skills, and social media. The interaction between students and alumni mentors utilizes Desire2Learn, an online forum. There is also opportunity to take part in networking events with employers, alumni and university staff.

Students receive a letter of confirmation upon successful completion of the above requirements and can add the program to their Memorial University Co-Curricular Record.
