Deadline for Spring 2013 application submission is May 14, 2013 (pending funding)

SWASP funding is from the provincial government. We have to wait for the provincial budget to be released and then trickled down to us to confirm  if we are going to continue receiving funding for this employment program. Last year, we didn't get confirmation until June. In the meantime, we will be putting out the application forms aournd early-April (pending funding) and setting the deadline date 2nd week of classes in May ( May 14). We always remind students that due to budgetary constraints, there is no guarantee on funding. A committee reviews all the applications received and can only award so many placements.

Student parents get priority. Non parents can only apply for the full-time 260 hour option and must be part-time or not currently registered in the Spring Semester.
