Eastern Health Long-Term Care Therapeutic Recreation
Spend a day of your mid-term break volunteering in one of 6 long-term care homes in the St. John's area. Volunteers will help porter residents to the gathering area and assist with therapeutic recreation activities. In this uplifting event, participants have an opportunity to make a big difference in seniors' lives. You will learn about some wonderful people with rich stories to tell. Allow yourself to be transformed as you begin to see the world through others' eyes, and become enlivened as you share your experiences with them in return.
*All food, snacks, and transportation provided.
Credit of 7 volunteer hours for your Co-curricular Record.
