Student ePortfolio

The student or learning portfolio is used at the course and program level where there is a required demonstration of knowledge and skills. The growth of the electronic version of portfolios has enabled different strategies for students to complete and present evidence of their learning to instructors and peers, and to reflect on their learning, which is an important feature of the ePortfolio.

Students can set up their ePortfolio without it being tied to a course or program. It can be used as a repository for exemplary work throughout a course or program, and for resumes and other files that demonstrate knowledge and skills. The student ePortfolio can be incorporated into the career ePortfolio upon graduation.

When used as part of a course or program, the student ePortfolio will be developed according to the course or program requirements and in conjunction with faculty who will provide guidance on learning outcomes.
