Academic Accommodations might also include the following:

  • an adaptation to a component of a program, course, or assignment, including but not limited to
    • a substitution of a component of a program; or
    • alternative forms of evaluation, where appropriate (e.g., assigning a term paper instead of an oral presentation to a student with a severe speech impediment or using written instead of oral evaluatin for a student with an auditory-processing learning disability).
