Smallwood (University) Centre

Location:	The University Centre spans both the north & south sides of the campus via the overhead food court. The main north building is north of the Prince Philip Parkway and south of Arctic Avenue (east of the Earth Sciences Building). The south annex building and courtyard are south of the Prince Philip Parkway, directly northeast of the Library.
Parking:	Area 16A by north building; metered parking in front of main entrance of north building (4 w/c spaces). Metered parking on west side of north building. Area 18 west of the south annex (2 w/c spaces).
Study areas:	None.
Outside entrance:	Both northwest & northeast main entrances are accessible at ground level via automatic doors. One west side & one east side entrance accessible at ground level. South annex accessible at southwest entrance off courtyard via automatic doors.
Proximity to lounges, refreshments:	Closest cafeteria: main food court on Level 3; Breezeway Bar on Level 1; drink machines on Levels 1-3; vending machines on Levels 1 and 3.
Skywalk/tunnel access:	Level 3: Access via skywalk from Earth Sciences/Chemistry-Physics link. Foodcourt provides access to south annex. Ground level enclosed walkway from Level 1 of south annex provides access to Level 1 of the Library.
Elevators:	Two elevators (equipped with lowered & brailled buttons) in main north building provide access to all levels. One elevator in south annex (equipped with lowered & brailled buttons) provides access to Levels 1-3.
Washrooms:	Levels 1 and 2: accessible.
Telephones:	Level 1 (main entrance, north annex): 6 phones, all with volume control. Level 2: 3 phones, all with volume control. Level 3: 3 phones, all with volume control. TTY (737-4763) is available at the Blundon Centre (UC-4007), 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Remarks, hints:	North Building: Blundon Centre located in Room 4007 (accessible via automatic doors); MUN DISC in Room 6007. Levels 4 and 6 have automatic door access upon exiting elevators. *Level 1:* Breezeway Bar is accessible via the main entrance (equipped with automatic doors). Inside access is gained via doors on ground level. From the Breezeway there is access to an enclosed outside deck (assistance may be required to open door). Also accessible on Level 1 are the entrances to the Games and Pool Rooms. Two sets of double doors with automatic openers lead to the Women's Resource Centre. *Level 2:* Memorial University of Newfoundland Students' Union (MUNSU) General Office (accessible via automatic doors); MUNSU Council Chambers in Room 2001 (accessible via automatic doors); The Muse/Radio CHMR-FM; MUN Bookstore. *Level 3:* Main Foodcourt; ANSWERS (Student Affairs and Services); Johnson Insurance; Pharmacy; Post Office; Travel Agency. *Level 4:* Student Health Centre (accessible via automatic door); *all of the following are accessible through two automatic doors from elevator:* Centre for Career Development and Experiential Learning (student employment services); Office of the Director of Career Development and Experiential Learning; Blundon Centre (accessible via automatic door); Native Liaison Office; Student Volunteer Bureau; Scholarships, Awards, and Financial Aid. *Level 5:* Counselling Centre (including Chaplains Office and Student Wellness Education); Office of the Dean of Student Affairs and Services (both offices have automatic door access). *Level 6:* Student clubs/societies (access to hallway through two automatic doors from elevator).
