Ruth is the founding co-ordinator of the Blundon Centre, a position she has held since 1991. She has a Bachelor of Vocational Education and a Master of Education (Post-Secondary Education, Student Services/Development) from Memorial University and a Diploma of Applied Arts from the College of the North Atlantic.

Her research interests include policy development for students with disabilities in Canadian higher education.

From 1997 to 2002, Ruth served as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Canadian Association of Disability Service Providers in Post-Secondary Education.

She has received several awards for her work on behalf of Memorial students with disabilities, including the Award of Accomplishment from the Canadian Association of College and University Student Services, the award of excellence from the Atlantic Association of College and University Student Services, and the President's Award for Exemplary Service at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Kathy joined the Blundon Centre in February 2006. Prior to this time, she was employed with the university's Department of Computing and Communications as an IT Consultant. Kathy thinks that the daily interaction with the students who use the services of the Blundon Centre is the best part of her job.

Kathy has a Bachelor of Arts from Memorial University and is currently completing her Master of Employment Relations on a part-time basis. She also has a Certificate in Business Administration from Memorial University as well as a Diploma in Computer Studies from Keyin Technical College.

Debbie has been with the Centre since February 2010. Prior to joining the Centre, Debbie was employed as a school secretary in Alberta. Debbie likes the hectic pace of the Blundon Centre and enjoys working with the students who use the services of the Centre.
