Stella's Circle Inclusion Choir

Three students from Memorial University recently participated in social enterprise work placements from the Centre for Social Enterprise. They were engaged at Stella's Circle in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, where they worked with the group's Inclusion Choir on a concert called Stella's Circle Sings for Canada. Their work culminated in a Canada150 event that featured the premier of a song written by the Inclusion Choir in collaboration with Juno award-winning singer-songwriter, Amelia Curran. At the Centre for Social Enterprise, we see our students as future leaders for positive social change. We support innovative experiences in social enterprise for student learning and growth, developing students who are committed to action and prepared with the skills needed for the 21st century. This reflects that major challenges faced in the world today require skills, competences and perspectives that no one discipline can bring on its own.
