Memorial University's policy regarding the Establishment of University Institutes and Centres is currently undergoing revisions, including a proposed new title of Research Centres, Research Institutes, and Other Research Entities.

The proposed revisions are intended to provide clarity around the governance of research centres, research institutes, and other research entities at Memorial University. It also provides a framework for the establishment, reporting, review, and closure of these research institutes, centres, and entities. 

In accordance with Memorial’s Policy Framework, the revised draft of the policy and related procedures is now available for consultation.
