New Guideline Publication: National Consensus Recommendations for HR+/HER2− Early Breast Cancer
A new national guideline by Discipline faculty Dr. Kara Laing (Professor of Oncology) and Dr. Scott Edwards (Clinical Assistant Professor of Oncology) has been released: Guidance for Canadian Breast Cancer Practice: National Consensus Recommendations for the Systemic Treatment of Patients with HR+/HER2− Early Breast Cancer 2025.
This consensus document brings together expert perspectives from across Canada to provide updated, evidence‑informed recommendations for the systemic management of hormone receptor–positive, HER2‑negative early breast cancer. The guidance aims to support clinicians in delivering consistent, high‑quality care and reflects the most current advances in treatment decision‑making, risk stratification, and therapeutic options. Career Fair Participation
Dr. Teri Stuckless (Radiation Oncologist) and Dr. Melanie Seal (Medical Oncologist) participated in the 7th Annual Holy Spirit High School Career Fair on January 7, 2026, representing their respective specialties.
