Teaching

I am an experiential educator and my classroom provides both safety and challenge. I begin where the students are, invite them to learn by doing, and assist them in creating a cooperative learning community.

I invite students to use their creativity and knowledge to solve the many challenges I place before them. I ask students to critically examine the world around them and their many roles in it. I challenge students to learn new knowledge and skills and to push their limits further than they have before. As a result, my classroom is often filled with laughter, intense focus and lively discussion.
