The new PLAY spring program

Saturday, May 7 will be the first time ever that the School of Human Kinetics and Recreation (SHKR) at Memorial University will be offering a spring session of its FREE kids movement program called PLAY (physical literacy for all youth).

The PLAY Program is a  play-based program for children up to age six and is offered on Saturday mornings in the MUN gymnasium. The first session is from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and the second session is from 10:30-11:30 a.m.. The program relies on SHKR student volunteers and is connected to coursework within SHKR. The primary objective of PLAY is to promote parental participation as children explore a variety of movement experiences in a safe environment. Come early to make sure you get a spot as space is limited.
