HKR got some special recognition on March 19 at the MUN Student Union (MUNSU) Student Volunteer Bureau awards. Dr. Anne-Marie Sullivan received an Excellence in Teaching award for her ‘excellence in teaching and outstanding contribution to student life’.  Lab instructor Dustin Silvey also received an award for his ‘Outstanding Contribution to Student Life’.

Organizers of HKR’s long running Physical Literacy Program for kids also got a certificate ‘in recognition of your significant contribution to the community and campus life through volunteering’. MUNSU hands out the awards annually to recognize volunteers on campus. This was the 28th Annual MUN Volunteer Day.

At the same ceremony, Dr. Sullivan along with Drs. TA Loeffler and Angela Loucks-Atkinson also received certificates from the Glenn Roy Blundon Centre for their ‘outstanding contribution by fostering an accessible learning environment for students with disabilities’.
