IMPORTANT INFORMATION - TUITION FEES AND CHARGES

Memorial University can be set up as a payee for most major banks so you can pay your student account using telephone or online banking. Payments by this method must be made up to and including the date of the fee payment deadline to avoid the late payment penalty. Further information on the use of this banking system can be obtained from your local branch.

If you are paying your account by Visa or MasterCard, you may do so by accessing the Memorial Self Service link at www.mun.ca.  Please note that all payments received after the fee payment deadline will be subject to a Late Payment Penalty. This penalty will be added to your student account balance after the 100% drop date.  If you are accessing the system to obtain or pay your balance before the late fee has been added to your account you must add to your balance the amount of the late payment penalty.

If you are receiving a Student Loan, the amount of all fees including housing will be deducted from your loan. If you are paying your fees by another method you must do so no later than seven business days prior to the first day of classes. If you pay after this date the amount will be deducted from your loan and you will have to wait to receive the refund for amount paid by another method. All loans available by fee payment deadline will not be assessed a late payment penalty if the amount of the loan covers fees outstanding.

Mail payments must be by cheque or money order payable to Memorial University and must be received no later than the fee payment deadline to avoid the late payment penalty. The University cannot accept responsibility for cash sent through the mail.

For a detailed listing of all financial regulations and fees, please see the FEES AND CHARGES section of the Financial and Administrative Services website at www.mun.ca/finance/fees/ .

Graduate Students please note:

Payroll Deduction information is available at https://www.mun.ca/sgs/current/payrolldeduction.php and requests can be submitted through Memorial Self-Service.

Health and dental charges for Graduate Students are payable each semester.
