New Weapons Policy gets Board approval

Memorial University has introduced a new university-wide Weapons Policy. At its meeting in December 2014, Vice-Presidents Council endorsed a policy draft and released it to the university community for consultation. Consultation was also conducted with Memorial’s student unions, local and provincial law enforcement as well as the Senior Academic and Administrators Group.

Cameras and blue phones

CEP has 32 emergency phones on the St. John’s campus. The phones, located strategically to enhance public safety on campus, are distinctly marked with blue led and do not require dialing.
