Glenn Roy Blundon Award

Glenn Roy Blundon

This institutional award for excellence in disability accommodation is presented annually to an individual or group for promoting equality and accessibility for Memorial students with disabilities.

This award is named for a former Memorial student and resident of Bay de Verde who died in 1984. Glenn is remembered for his leadership and his committment to equality and accessibility issues. The Blundon Centre is also named in his memory.

The 2011 recipient of the Glenn Roy Blundon Award is Barbara Winsor, D2L Student Support and Assistive Technology Co-ordinator, Queen Elizabeth II library.

The 2012 Glenn Roy Blundon Award

Nominations for the 2012 Glenn Roy Blundon Award are being accepted until March 7. Nomination forms are available online, you can print a copy, or you can drop by the Blundon Centre to pick up a copy.
