Memorial is offering a six-month free license to students, staff, faculty, as well as spin-off and start-up companies from Memorial. 

Eligibility:

• Students, staff, and faculty from Memorial
• Spin-off and start-up companies from Memorial

Requirements:

• Enrolled in or completed Genesis Evolution or Lab2Market
• Use the six months to evaluate the intellectual property, conduct customer discovery, and determine the viability of the technology

Commercialization of IP:

• If the company or individual would like to exploit the technology and have a full license, they would need to present a commercialization path and associated milestones to RIO
• There is a fee of $1,000 CAD for the option to convert the free license to a full license 
• Negotiations for a full license can start at any point during the six months
