Manager, Web Content Services
Curious by nature and eager to broaden my horizons, I moved to Canada in 1997. After graduating from Acadia University with a bachelor of business administration in 2001, I spent the early days of my career in advertising and media planning–first with an agency in Halifax and later with the Omnicom Group in Dubai. While overseas, I transitioned into a communications role with an educational group that operates international schools in the Middle East.
Having always had a fondness for Atlantic Canada, I returned to Halifax in 2007 and grew progressively in marketing and communications roles within the private sector and government before moving to Newfoundland.
Throughout my career, I’ve leveraged new media and technology to better connect people and bring stories to life in innovative ways. I’ve also been fortunate to work with diverse teams and have helped organizations implement and adopt new communications tools and technologies. When I started at Memorial in 2016, I led the launch and implementation of a new responsive website to help improve Memorial’s online presence and meet changing audience needs. As manager, web content services, I continue to work with my colleagues to advance Memorial’s web and digital capabilities. In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, my job keeps me on my toes and my curiosity alive.
