The internal Forum on Indigenization and Reconciliation at Memorial (FIRM) 2025 will take place Oct. 6-9. This year’s FIRM is fully virtual, and is part of the Memorial 100 “I Love MUNdays” events happening in October.

Current Memorial faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in this internal forum and engage with the Office of Indigenous Affairs in conversations around the Strategic Framework for Indigenization, our respective roles in reconciliation, and some of the work that has been underway here at Memorial currently and in years past. 

The schedule will be posted soon, both here and in the FIRM Brightspace shell.  If you are not already enrolled in the FIRM Brightspace shell, please use the self-enrollment link to access the upcoming FIRM sessions as well as the recorded sessions noted below.  Please note that FIRM is intentionally internal, to facilitate dialogue and nurture trust, and therefore only open to current students, faculty, and staff.

Recorded sessions from FIRM 2024 and FIRM 2023 are available on Brightspace. Members of the Memorial community can access the recorded sessions in Brightspace.  If you encounter any problems enrolling or have questions please contact the FIRM team firm@mun.ca.
