Thesis title: To be determined
Supervisor: Dr. Graham Layne
Interests: Mineral Deposits, Geochemical Exploration, Igneous Petrology
About me:
I completed my B.Sc. at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where I worked on the petrography and geochemistry of K-rich igneous rocks outcropping in Western Colombia. My research at MUN focuses on paleoenvironment determination of rocks hosting epithermal Au-Ag deposits through sedimentological, textural and geochemical analyses, in order to support targeted mineral exploration and to constrain terrane reconstruction of the Avalon Zone for the latest Neoproterozoic.
