CREAIT Instrument Systems Administration (CISA) is a division within the CREAIT Network organized under the department of Research Initiatives and Services. CISA supports approximately 700 faculty, staff and graduate students as well as the IT infrastructure managed across CREAIT satellite laboratories. A significant focus of our activities centres around providing information technology support for research projects in Geophysics, Ocean Sciences and Chemistry. CISA is responsible for approximately 40 servers and over 60 highly specialized instrument systems. We house approximately 300 TB of data space and manage a multi-node VMWare Vshpere virtualization platform, located in our data centre facility.
