Application to graduate and Registration to attend Convocation

Graduates are required to complete 2 steps;

1. Apply to graduate
2. Register to attend Convocation

The deadline to apply to graduate was January. 15, 2024. Registration to attend convocation is now accessible until April. 17, 2024. Please visit MUN Self Service to register. The Convocation schedule can be found here.

 

Academic Dress

When you register to attend Convocation, you will be redirected to Gaspard’s website to rent your academic dress. It is important to complete this step or your registration to attend won’t be complete. Academic dress will be available for pickup on Wednesday, May. 15 11am-3pm or 1 hour prior to your ceremony at the Corner Brook Arts and Culture Centre. It is required to be returned immediately following your scheduled ceremony.

 

Photography

LifeTouch will be on Campus offering studio photography from Monday, May. 6 to Friday, May. 10. The link to book a session time can be found here.

There will be a professional photographer on-site who will take photos of each graduate while crossing the stage, as well as backstage. About two to three weeks following Convocation, photo proofs will be sent to graduates via their MUN email address with details on how to purchase.

 

Tickets for Convocation

Graduates can request up to three guest tickets in Corner Brook per graduate, per ceremony. There is no cost for guest tickets and they will be provided to you, the graduate, during gown pick up, on Wednesday, May. 15. Should additional guest tickets become available after the closing deadline for all graduates attending Convocation, you will receive an email which will include details on how to acquire additional tickets.
