Project Management and Facilities Planning

Grenfell Campus's planners, designers and project managers are the liaison between building contractors and University personnel and handle all improvements and renovations to campus buildings.

Engineering/Project Management and Facilities Planning is also responsible for the administration and management of:

  • new building construction
  • building additions and renovations
  • in-house project and design services relating to mechanical, electrical, civil, HVAC controls, interior design and space planning
  • planning, design and contract administration for renovations, construction and facilities upgrade
  • development, implementation and execution of engineering plans and specifications for major and minor capital renovation work

 

Project news:

The former Grenfell Campus pool and gymnasium have been incorporated into the new Corner Brook Regional Recreation Center, which is slated for opening by the City of Corner Brook in September 2025.  The new CBRRC will house a 25-meter competition swimming pool, second leisure swimming pool with an accessible beach entry, gymnasium, fitness center, child-minding area, meeting room and daycare.  More information on the CBRRC will be communicated thru Grenfell Campus channels as available.
