FAQ

Do you offer payment plans?

Sign up for the summer and SAVE! We offer a one-time registration fee of $1299 per child, or four payments of $329 (April 11, May 11, June 11, July 11) for the full 8-week KidsU program.

If you are registering for more than one camp and would like to make a payment arrangement, please contact us at gckidsu@mun.ca and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What are your hours?

Camp programming takes place Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with doors opening for drop-off at 8:15 a.m. and pick-up closing at 4:45 p.m.

Are meals and snacks provided?

Campers are required to bring lunches and snacks. Water bottle filling stations are available around campus.

When will I get more information?

You will automatically receive a response indicating your confirmed registration. In May you will be contacted by our staff to provide information such as MCP, emergency contacts, etc. An orientation email with information regarding classroom locations, parking, and other important information will be issued the week prior to each camp.

What are the age restrictions?

Please note that participants must have completed the earliest school grade indicated for the specific camp. For example, to attend a camp listed as K-1, the camper must have completed kindergarten or grade 1 in the 2023-2024 academic year.

All campers must be able to use the washroom independently.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your registration, please contact gckidsu@mun.ca as soon as possible.

Upon cancellation the following policies will apply:

The deadline to receive a refund, less a 10% administration fee, is Monday, June 17, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. NDT.  Subsequently you may receive 50% of your payment up to five business days before the camp start date.

No refunds will be issued for absences from camp; however, in extenuating circumstances such as hospitalization or a family emergency, with the provision of appropriate documentation, and at the discretion of the Program Developer, some form of compensation may be provided. No refunds will be issued for missed days due to illness, partial attendance or behavioral issues.

Prorated refunds will be issued due to unforeseen campus closures, such as a power or water outage.

Please note that refunds issued for payments made by cash, cheque, debit or Visa Debit can take up to four weeks to process.

If you would simply like to be moved into another available session rather than cancelling, we are happy to make this accommodation free of charge if space permits.
