Leadership change in the School of Pharmacy

Dr. Carlo Marra, dean of the School of Pharmacy, has accepted the role of dean of the School of Pharmacy at the University of Otago in New Zealand. He will remain in his role at Memorial until Aug. 1, 2016. An interim dean will be appointed in the coming days and the search process for the permanent position will begin immediately.

Memorial University is fortunate to have had Dr. Marra as a member of the senior academic leadership team. The School of Pharmacy thrived under his leadership, and his dedication and commitment to the role helped advance several key priorities for the unit, including the establishment of the new PharmD program.
