Scope & Objectives: This is a free and whole day public event. Please click here for a preliminary schedule.

This event aims to:

  • engage with public members, and increase their interest and awareness about genetics, genetic research conducted in the province, and medical genetics options for families affected by genetic disorders
  • have speakers, including researchers, genetic counselors, medical geneticists, privacy experts, and patients, and multiple interactive Q & A sessions
  • live-tweet the talks (@MUNMed) during the event for wider outreach
