Resources include opportunities provided by other Canadian and non-Canadian universities, national funding programs, and international organizations focused on supporting public engagement activities and projects.

SSHRC Partnership Toolkit Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council This tool‑kit includes useful tools and resources to help researchers and partners plan and implement a partnership—from preparing an application for partnership funding to knowledge mobilization activities.  Partnerships Toolkit (
NSERC Alliance Grants Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Alliance grants encourage university researchers to collaborate with partner organizations, which can be from the private, public or not-for-profit sectors. These grants support research projects led by strong, complementary, collaborative teams that will generate new knowledge and accelerate the application of research results to create benefits for Canada.
Elevate program MITACS Establish long-term collaborations that support postdoctoral research management skills and career development. Access customized training at $60,000 for a year-long project or $120,000 for a two-year project. Your partner organization’s financial contribution starts at $30,000 per year. Elevate | Mitacs
