SUBJECT: Family Practice Clinic opens at Faculty of Medicine

Media are invited to attend the opening of the new Family Practice Clinic, hosted by the Discipline of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University, on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
The new community clinic is larger to accommodate new teaching and clinical services. It has been designed to promote inter-professional education and to improve regular clinical teaching of residents by family physician faculty.
With upgraded technical services, including new electronic medical records and teaching resources, the clinic will provide more efficient, patient-centred primary care.
