SUBJECT: Memorial University to officially open new Medical Education Centre

Note to media:
The Medical Education Centre at Memorial University’s Faculty of Medicine will officially open on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m.
The opening will be hosted by Dr. Gary Kachanoski, president and vice-chancellor, and Dr. James Rourke, dean, Faculty of Medicine.
At 9:30 a.m., prior to the official opening, media are invited to tour the state-of-the-art simulation lab known as the Clinical Learning and Simulation Centre (CLSC), which is at the heart of the Medical Education Centre.
Parking is available adjacent to the Medical Education Centre, Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s campus. Upon arrival, please check in with the media desk in room 1M102, just off the atrium.
