SUBJECT: Third annual Memorial University Alumni Job Fair taking place

About 20 local exhibitors will be at Easter Seals, 206 Mount Scio Rd., on Wednesday, May 14, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for the third annual Memorial Alumni Job Fair.
Stemming from previous successful fairs, the event is open to Memorial alumni and new graduates looking to network with potential local employers who are providing opportunities right here in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The fair is co-ordinated by Memorial’s department of Career Development and Experiential Learning.
“The Alumni Job Fair is one of the best opportunities for local employers and alumni to network,” said Jennifer Browne, director, Career Development Experiential Learning. “From experienced professionals to recent graduates, the Alumni Job Fair brings employers from the local community together with outstanding alumni. All alumni of the university looking for new opportunities are encouraged to drop by!”
Admission to the Alumni Job Fair is free. Alumni are reminded to bring along their student ID or have their student number readily available if possible.
A shuttle service from the University Centre on the St. John’s campus to Easter Seals will be available for those who need transportation. Parking will also be available at Easter Seals. The shuttle service will be running every 20 minutes starting at 10 a.m. and completing its last run at 1:30 p.m.
