SUBJECT: PSA: Marine Institute to host second annual Model Boat Race

The Fisheries and Marine Institute’s marine engineering systems design and naval architecture programs will be holding the second annual Model Boat Race Competition on Saturday, Oct. 26.
The event will take place at the Marine Institute’s Ridge Road campus in the flume tank from 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Media and the public are welcome to attend.
This year’s competition will see nine high schools competing with 10 teams in total.
Participating schools include Queen Elizabeth Regional High School, Holy Trinity High School, Ascension Collegiate, Roncalli Central High School, St. Michael’s Regional High School, Carbonear Collegiate, Crescent Collegiate, Clarenville High School and O’Donel High School.
