Glenn Blackwood, vice-president, Memorial University (Marine Institute), will announce funding for the Hibernia Offshore Operations Simulator Facility on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 1 p.m.
The announcement will take place in the institute’s gymnasium on the Ridge Road campus. Media are invited to attend.
Mr. Blackwood will be joined by Margot Bruce-O’Connell, public affairs manager, Hibernia Management and Development Company Ltd.; Kevin O’Brien, minister, Advanced Education and Skills; and Dr. Gary Kachanoski, president and vice-chancellor, Memorial University.
