SUBJECT: PSA: Kinesiology students offering new hydro wellness program at Memorial University

Kinesiology students from Memorial University are looking for participants for a new program aimed at helping people get active again after physical therapy. The Ripple Effect is a new hydro wellness program for people with conditions such as stroke, chronic pain, cancer rehabilitation, acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis and others for up to two pool sessions per week. The program offers a supportive environment with a low instructor to participant ratio.
The fitness and wellness program, which involves light cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training, will take place at the H.G.R. Mews Community Centre starting in the fall.
