SUBJECT: PSA: Renowned scholar to give public presentation: Culturally Responsive Practice with Immigrant and Aboriginal Populations at Memorial Universitys School of Social Work

Dr. Laurence Kirmayer, MD, FRCPC, professor and director, Social and Transcultural Psychiatry, McGill University; editor-in-chief of Transcultural Psychiatry, will explore the role of culture in shaping the perceptions, behaviours and responses to psychosocial problems.
All are welcome to attend this free presentation on Oct. 25, 2011, from 12-1 p.m. at the Chapel, St. Johns College.
Free parking will be available in Area 22. Directions: Take Morrissey Drive by the Earth Sciences building and follow it down past the Business Administration building until you come to Lot 22 on the right.
