SUBJECT: PSA: Memorial University’s School of Social Work hosts open house
DATE: March 15, 2012
In honour of National Social Work Month, Memorial University’s School of Social Work invites the public to the school for refreshments, booth displays of student initiatives, faculty research and program information on Wednesday, Mar. 21, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at the School of Social Work, St. John’s College, Prince Philip Drive.
Dr. Tracy Swan will present a lunch time lecture titled Still “Forgotten Soldiers”: A Critical Consideration of the Experiences of Foster Caregivers’ Children from 12-1 p.m. in the Chapel at St. John’s College.
Free parking will be available in area 22. To access this lot, take Morrissey Drive by the Earth Science building and follow it past the Business Administration building until you come to lot 22 on the right.
All are welcome to attend. RSVP 864-8165 for the lunchtime presentation.
