SUBJECT: PSA: Memorial Universitys Faculty of Medicine hosting speaker on stroke research

Dr. Jared Clarke will present Translational Studies: Taking Stroke Research from the Lab Bench to the Kitchen Table at Memorial Universitys Faculty of Medicine in the Health Sciences Centre lecture theatre B from 1-2 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 10. This lecture is open to the public and admission is free.
This presentation will focus on how stroke research at Memorial has pursued improved recovery for stroke survivors and how research from different fields uniquely impact practice. From a career perspective, it will also provide a vignette on Dr. Clarkes recent transition from the realm of biomedical science to community-based research.
Dr. Clarkes presentation is part of the speaker series within the Division of Community Health and Humanities in the Faculty of Medicine.
