SUBJECT: PSA: Memorial University social work class to host benefit concert for Haiti

Memorial University’s School of Social Work professor Dr. Delores Mullings and her social justice class are hosting a benefit concert called Hope for Haiti.
Hands Across the Sea (HATS), an organization founded and operated by Newfoundlander Karen Huxter, provides ongoing financial, nutritional and other needed support to the citizens of Haiti.
Help make a difference on Saturday, Nov. 12, at The Levee on George Street, from 9:30 p.m.-2:45 a.m. All proceeds go toward improvement of the organization’s school and orphanage.
Live performances by The Everly Buddies, Those Lasers, The Thymes, The Elizabeatans and Feng Shui Friday’s, Krystle Hayden and Leo van Ulden. Cover is $10. Must be 19 or older to attend.
