SUBJECT: PSA: Memorial University Childcare Centre on track to reopen

The Memorial University Childcare Centre would like to inform the parents it serves that it is on track to reopen on Monday, Jan. 30, as previously communicated.
On Monday, Dec. 26, the childcare centre closed for renovations due to a break in the sprinkler line that occurred on the second floor. This caused water to leak under the floorboards.
As a result, some parts of the floors and walls throughout the centre had to be replaced in order to prevent further damage. These repairs were necessary to fulfill the centre’s ultimate goal to provide a safe, healthy environment for the children who attend the facility.
