SUBJECT: PSA: Canadian Federation of University Women holding book blitz
DATE: February 23, 2011
The Canadian Federation of University Women will be holding a book collection blitz on Saturday, Feb. 26.
Gently used books will be collected between 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the main parking lot of the Arts and Culture Centre in St. John’s and at Lester’s Farm at 92 Pearltown Rd.
The event is sponsored by the Canadian Federation of University Women St. John’s chapter in support of their book sale April 29-30 to fund student scholarships.
Encyclopedias, condensed books and textbooks cannot be accepted.
