SUBJECT: Memorial University hosts funding announcement for the Atlantic Canada Venture Gateway

Media are invited to send representatives to a major funding announcement taking place tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 16, in the RBC Atrium, Faculty of Business Administration, for the Atlantic Canada Venture Gateway (formerly Gateway without Borders).
Dr. Christopher W. Loomis, president and vice-chancellor pro tempore, the Honourable Peter MacKay, minister of National Defence, minister of the Atlantic Gateway, and minister Responsible for Newfoundland and Labrador and the Honourable Shawn Skinner, minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development (INTRD) will be on hand for the ceremony.
The Atlantic Canada Venture Gateway assists Atlantic Canadian high-growth technology firms in attracting capital and securing strategic business partnerships in the international marketplace.
The announcement takes place at 10 a.m. Parking is available in
lot 22.
