SUBJECT: Lead exposure research project set to launch on May 3

Media representatives are invited to attend a news conference announcing the launch of a new bio-monitoring project assessing lead exposure in families living in St. John’s.
The project is a collaboration between Memorial University of Newfoundland, Eastern Health, and Health Canada. The principal investigators are Dr. Trevor Bell, Dept. of Geography, Memorial University, and Dr. David Allison, Medical Officer of Health, Eastern Health.
The news conference will take place in the Junior Common Room, Gushue Hall on Monday, May 3 at 10:30 a.m. Parking is available in the front or at the side.
